Hey!

Welcome back to my blog :) As I'm writing this post I'm realizing this is my second last blog already??? So I just want to say to those readers who have been with me for almost a year, thanks for sticking around, and I hope you have a great day whoever you might be :)

Success??

So this month when I returned from spring break I realized I don't actually have much studying to do, and since badminton season was over I had a lot of free time in hand. I also wanted some good exercise, so I ended up learning a lot of dances, and I ended up finishing my quest goal! I learned 25 dance choreographies in the time of a year! I feel as though I could give a moving speech on my journey and its ups and downs as I'm writing this post, but now that I'm finished I'm wondering did I really succeed? Was it maybe not a worth it journey? Wasn't it maybe too fun? So with these and many more questions in mind I created a list of regrets, things I would have done differently, and things I don't regret as I'm moving forward to possibly continue this, so if you're starting out too maybe this list will make it easier for you to start :)

・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・List of things I would change ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○ ・

1. Learning from tutorials.

When I began learning dances, I started with watching tutorials up to 2 hours long, and still wouldn't be able to get the moves perfect. So I highly recommend learning from mirrors because not only do you learn faster you are also able to put your own style to the moves.

2. Not practicing after I learned the dance.

After I would learn a dance I would just think okay I'm done, but it's super easy to forget everything you just learnt a few days ago if you don't practice! So be it in the car or in class it helps to just visualize the moves in your head to remember them.

3. Picking slightly easy choreographies.

Some of the choreographies I picked were done by kpop girl groups that are known for doing cute, but easy dances. Which made it a lot easier for me to learn all the dances, but I think it would have been more exciting to push myself a bit.

4. Not having someone else give me advice.

I feel as though if I had someone tell me what I could have improved or changed it would have helped me improve a lot more in this time, and I would have grown as a dancer.

5. Filming in a better place with a better camera.

When I look at videos online everyone has their video filmed in such a nice way making me think wow I could have put some more effort into that, especially since I filmed with my iphone.

・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・List of things I would do again ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○

1. Choose this quest.

I would have still chosen this quest because I don't do too many things for fun, and I really enjoyed dancing and I think I want to carry it on now that I got a small taste of it.

2. Choose both Kpop choreographies and choreographies from dance studios.

I think I had a big variation in my dance which helped me reach different areas in dance because I did both kpop choreographies and choreographies from a dance studio. I think it also helped me improve.

3. Choosing songs I liked.

Because I chose songs that I liked, I didn't get bored of playing them on repeat to learn the dance. Which made the process of learning a whole lot easier, so I definitely recommend this one!

Dances of this month (I learn a lot of dances, but it takes time to film, and I'm pretty awkward, so I'm sorry if you wanted to see more!):

My Version of them (◕ ω ◕)

(I'm really sorry, I can dance a lot better I assure you, but I feel really awkward. Hopefully I can change that soon lol)
