A Proper Introduction

For my school project I am supposed to be learning how to get better at dancing by learning choreographies, and this is called the Quest. The goal for my quest by the end of the year is to learn up to 20 dances. I will be using online sources to learn choreographies. I am pursuing this quest because this will help me become better at something I really like to do, but don’t have the time to. Also, I aspire to be able to dance like some of choreographers that I will be learning off of, online, and I listen to K-POP and see my favorite groups dancing hard to make fans happy, and want to experience it from their point of view too. Something I aspire also as my end goal is to get better because right now it takes me at least 4 days to learn a whole combo. I am hoping that by the end of the year I will be able to learn them faster, and will become better in general.

I am going to start by deciding what dances I want to learn, and then organize them into my year. Specifically, I am going for dances by a dance studio known as One Million Dance, or learning dances from K-POP groups. I chose these too because their dances interested me the most, and One Million Dance also has some beginners chorepgraphies I could start with.

Some difficulties I anticipate are: that it will be hard to learn so many dances in the span of a year, while balancing other sports and my work, it will also be hard to make sure that each dance is done to its best ability, and is clean. To counter these problems I will organize a schedule in which dance doesn't interfere with my work or sports.

Where will i be dancing?

Dancing requires big spaces, so I will be dancing in the music room of my school, and when I am not at school I will be using an empty room in my house that has a fairly large size or the squash courts in my compound.

WHAT I WILL BE USING:

I will need dance tutorials from online, and if I can't find tutorials for dances I will need the mirrored version of the original dance. So I will be using speakers and my computer to make sure I am able to hear the music, and to see the choreographers.
